Recovery Session
No specific injury needed. This is a 30 minute maintenance/recovery session. Following strenuous workouts, you may experience soft tissue restrictions, tightness or myofascial trigger points. We will work to normalize tone, eliminate myofacial trigger points and decrease tissue restrictions with manual techniques such as: Myofacial Release, Soft-Tissue Massage, Active Release Therapy (ART), Graston/Scraping/IASTM, Dry Needling, Nerve Glides and Trigger Point Therapy in order to restore motion and function. We can also perform manual joint mobilizations and teach you mobility exercises to combat this and improve function, as well as, decrease stiffness. We will also provide manual stretching to help you recover from your workout. Other techniques that we specialize in is cupping to further promote a decrease in your tissue tension.
